Education

Syracuse University, PhD Organic Chemistry, August-2011-December 2016, GPA: 3.92 Binghamton University, B.S. Chemistry, August 2007-May 2011 GPA: 3.81

Experience

My experience as a tutor began as an undergraduate at Binghamton University I tutored students in General Chemistry 1 & 2. As a graduate researcher at Syracuse University I was the TA for organic chemistry lab and lecture classes. My responsibilities included teaching problem solving sessions of ~30 students and holding weekly office hours. My philosophy is that individual tutoring sessions uniquely tailored to each student and class are the best way to achieve learning objectives. I have found problem-solving and interactive sessions to be especially helpful for reaching these objectives. I am currently located in Watertown, MA so if you are in the area please send me an email and I would be happy to set up an appointment. I can be flexible with regards to meeting times and subject material so if you have a question don't be afraid to ask.
