Experience
I graduated from the College of Wooster with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Languages, and earned a Master of Arts in Greek and Roman Studies from the University of Victoria. I will soon be pursuing a PhD in Classics and currently am focusing on an education career. I tutored Latin and Greek during my undergraduate and graduate years and taught many classes as a teaching assistant in grad school. I have also instructed a high school level Latin IV Honors course. I am very passionate about these languages, instilled in me through experience with my own professors, and strive to impart that same verve to my students. I bring a great enthusiasm to the subject and aim to ensure my students realize the new worlds of literature and culture available to them through language. A comfortable and clear understanding of a subject makes learning that much more enjoyable. My goal is that students will leave the classroom with a clear understanding of the material and its application to their lives and careers. My hobbies and interests include running, which I try to do every day, and reading classic works of literature.
