I am a tutor who is passionate about education and knows what it's like to struggle with learning. I'm able to tutor students in a variety of subjects, including algebra, statistics, reading, writing, literature, history, psychology, politics, anthropology, philosophy, and more! I'm also available for test prep and I can help students with public speaking. I specialize in economics and anthropology. I received a degree in Economics and a degree in Social Cultural Anthropology at UCSD. I have experience tutoring students from many different grade levels, and I've worked with college students before. Having grown up with ADHD, I know how difficult it can be to learn. I bring what I've learned from my own personal learning struggles to my tutoring. I am patient and empathetic to students who are having difficulty in a subject. I want my students to have the skill set to succeed once they finish our sessions together. In my free time I love to read, particularly classic literature. I also study math and economics whenever I get the chance. I'm very active and I love to go kayaking, hiking, and dancing.
