Experience
Hi there! I started tutoring in eighth grade and continued to do so throughout high school and college; I very much enjoy it. I was a first grade teacher's aide my senior year of high school and have experience working with children struggling with AD(H)D, mild autism, and developmental and behavioral challenges. Working with these individuals has been some of the most rewarding tutoring I've ever done. I also work part-time as a nanny and have extensive experience with children. I made a 2100 on the SAT, a 780 on the English SAT II, received a 5 on both the English Language/Composition and English Language/Literature AP exams, and a 4 on the Psychology exam. I've taken seven years of French (as well as a summer immersion program in Nova Scotia), one year of Spanish, and one year of Hebrew.

Hobbies
I'm interested in almost everything! The softest spots in my heart are reserved for literature (particularly poetry) and art, but I really enjoy neuroscience, philosophy, miscellaneous history, etc. I'm always happy to ice skate, swim, and take lengthy, aimless walks throughout Boston. I love all kinds of music and am learning to play the piano. I'm willing to go to rather extreme lengths to acquire good cheesecake. I volunteer at a women's shelter in the city on the weekends and work on its helpline, write poetry and short fiction, and read voraciously.
