Experience
I'm a native speaker with a neutral accent. I've been teaching for over 20 years, first as an elementary school teacher, then as an ESL teacher, for the past eight years. As an ESL tutor, I've worked with students and faculty from Harvard, MIT, and Boston University, as well as employees of companies such as Caterpillar, Samsung, and Lenovo. For the last 6 years I've also been teaching ESL in Boston at Embassy English, a premiere school for English language learners. I've taught students at many levels, including Beginning, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, and Upper Intermediate. I've done workshops for faculty on "Pronunciation" and on "Understanding Arab Students." I meet with private students in the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. I really enjoy getting to know my clients, and figuring out how to meet their individual needs through a variety of activities.

Hobbies
I enjoy walking my dog, cooking, reading, movies, and gardening. I prefer quiet activities, such as going to museums, and being in nature. My favorite activities in the summer are going to the beach and swimming! My interest as an ESL tutor is in discovering the best way to move my students forward. I enjoy learning about different cultures, and developing fun relationships with all my students.
