Experience
I graduated from Brandeis University cum laude with honors in both history and politics. In my class of 800, I was one of five people to achieve the feat of receiving honors in multiple departments. Due to my academic achievements, I was invited to join Phi Alpha Theta, the national honors society for history. I am passionate about history, politics, and how the two intersect. As an undergrad, I wrote my senior thesis on Irish-American political power and the Good Friday Agreement. My background is in American history and comparative politics, although I also have experience in European history, American politics, Constitutional law and history, and European politics. As a high school student, I scored a 2200 on the SAT, 800 on the American history SAT II, and a 780 on the English literature SAT II. I took seven AP exams (American history, European history, Calculus AB, Biology, English literature, Latin, and American government), and received 5s on all but Latin and American government, which I received 4s on. Outside of the classroom, I served as the copy editor for my college newspaper, so I have a keen eye for style and grammar.
