I am a native Russian speaker and a certified Russian Teacher. Whether you need Russian for a job, to pass a class, or just for pleasure, whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, I know how to help you. I have a Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language diploma from Lomonosov Moscow State University, and 5 years of experience. During these years I have taught private and group lessons in the Institute of Humanitarian Development (Moscow, Russia) and the Center for East Asia Studies (Seville, Spain). I have worked with people of different ages, nationalities and professions. Moreover, I have taught various levels of Russian – from beginner to advanced, including heritage students – and led intensive courses and workshops, which have included topics such as Russian films, literature, traditions, and food. To make my lessons interesting and effective I introduce music, films, cartoons, literature, traditions and modern culture from my native country into the classroom. I use a communicative approach accompanied by some grammar quizzes and class readings (with further discussion). Although I speak English fluently, I begin to speak Russian from the very first lesson and encourage my students to do the same. All these make the learning process entertaining, and the results satisfy both the teacher and the students.
