Experience
I earned my Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Johns Hopkins University, and am currently performing cancer research at MIT here in the Boston area. Throughout my PhD and Postdoc I have acted as a teacher and mentor to undergraduate and graduate students. I enjoy teaching and explaining as well as encouraging the learning process in others. I am happy to tutor in many subjects including basic Biology, Chemistry, basic to advanced Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, scientific writing, and am happy to help with test prep.

Hobbies
I enjoy bicycling in and around Boston as well as sailing on the Charles River. I also enjoy backpacking and have successfully completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail, a continuous footpath of ~2,200 miles stretching from Georgia to Maine. Additionally, I spend some of my free time here playing Ultimate Frisbee, and love cooking and subsequently eating.
