I am high-energy, non-judgmental and have an excellent sense of humor (and an exceptionally popular professor at BU). In addition to teaching specific subjects, I help my students demystify the school process. Studying, test taking, preparing for classes, communicating with teachers -- these are not genetic inheritances, they are skills that can be learned. I am at my best with humanities and social science subjects, though certainly I can tutor all middle school subjects.
