Experience
Having over 8 years of experience, I can honestly say that teaching is one of my passions. I have had the opportunity to lead in a variety of environments, including one-on-one tutoring, 2-3 person small groups, and workshops of up to 30 people. My favorite part about tutoring is working with the students so that they become capable of teaching the material to another person, as this is one of the best ways to see if someone has mastered the material. My goal is to work with peers to motivate them to learn and refine their study habits so that they not only do well in their current classes, but also excel in future classes. For my students, my goal is not only to develop information retention, but to help their learning style evolve into a self-sustaining habit that can be carried into their future courses.
