Private tutor in Boston, MA
Suffolk University - Bachelors, Political Science , Georgetown University - Masters, International Relations
I feel very privileged to have been able to study abroad during high school, and believe it was that experience that inspired my strong affinity for learning. I then spent years traveling, living, and working abroad. I have spent time in East Asia, South America, Southeast Asia, and Europe. I was excited for each new experience. I did take the time to earn my bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at Suffolk University, as well as my master's degree in International Relations at Georgetown University. I have spent two decades living abroad, and wherever I was, I took advantage of the chance to become a part of the local community. I taught students from the local community, as well as American students who were living abroad themselves. The subjects I'm most comfortable tutoring are Spanish, English, and assistant students who are studying for standardized tests, such as the TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, and others. I've been very motivated and gratified by my involvement in teaching the American culture to people in other countries. When I moved back to the US after spending so many years abroad, I began tutoring students in the area right away. Outside of teaching, I do enjoy cooking, golfing, and sailing.
