Experience
While I'm currently working as a biologist, I have an extensive history working in academia. Along with a PhD in molecular biology, I've also completed two postdoctoral programs at the medical school at the University of Massachusetts, as well as Harvard Medical School. I've been published in 18 peer-reviewed journals and have had the pleasure of teaching a wide range of students throughout my academic career, in addition to creating curriculum for students at the undergraduate and master's levels. As someone who's benefited greatly from working under some of the brightest minds in the field, I know just how important it is to have the help of an experienced teacher who's willing to go the extra mile to see you succeed. For this reason, I like to work as a mentor so that I'm able to share my own wisdom and experiences with the next generation of future scientists. In addition to working at the university level, I also spend my spare time working with high school students during various extracurricular activities that involve biology and other sciences. When I'm not spending my time teaching or working in science, I like to enjoy being outdoors. One of my most favorite hobbies is hiking, and I'm even a trip leader in a local hiking club.
