Ricardo L.
Private tutor in Boston, MA
Education
Got most of my formal education in San Francisco California. My major in San Francisco State University was Psychology; just as a disclaimer I am a language tutor I will not be doing any tutoring for psychology. My passion is language and culture. I'm actually not completely satisfied with most academic institutions and learned most of my knowledge of Chinese and Spanish outside of the classroom. I also wish to help those that wish to improve their English. Many people come from around the world to study in the US and I am more than willing to help people from Asia and South America with their English.
Experience
I Spent years in Washington DC lobbying and encountered very generous Chinese institutional figures that worked with me on Mandarin Chinese I also spent years working through various online Mandarin Language Programs I have been studying Chinese since 2008 and in addition to studying Mandarin I have also been studying US China relations and their respective histories for about the same amount of time. Currently I am sponsoring a Language MeetUp Group that gets together to practice Mandarin in an Informal Setting. My Spanish is something I grew up speaking in my family, I have also spent much time in Mexico for various reasons my Spanish is at a very high level. I also happen to work on great English literature therefore I can help anyone from abroad.
