I'm a Harvard graduate with a bachelor's in American history and literature. I also have a PhD in American studies courtesy of Boston University. I have always deeply enjoyed supporting others as they learn to master various subjects. While in high school, I tutored students in English and math. During both high school and college, I continued tutoring and worked as a music director for various productions and ensembles. My knowledge and experiences have prepared me for teaching students of any age and skill level. I can offer my assistance in preparing for standardized tests, such as AP exams, the SAT, and the GRE. I can provide invaluable test-taking strategies while reviewing the material to bolster a student's scores. My communication skills allow me to find the best way to explain a concept to a student while factoring in their learning style. I believe that education requires enthusiasm, strong communication, and flexibility to fit the lesson to the student. One-on-one tutoring is a satisfying experience that allows me to help others achieve the success they deserve.
