I'm a tutor based in Boston, Massachusetts, where I enjoy playing sports, reading, and enjoying new food outside of the classroom. I have my bachelor's degree in English from the University of Notre Dame, and am currently a second year law student at Boston College. I've been teaching since the eighth grade, when I taught CCD to a group of first graders. In college I tutored students twice a week and also participated in a service trip to an alternative high school in Appalachia. After graduating from Notre Dame I joined the Alliance for Catholic Education, which placed me at an under-resourced grades sixth through twelve school in Texas. During this time I taught a diverse range of subjects including public speaking, literature, English, and a seminar course which focused on helping students adjust to the high school level. I also worked with students outside of regular classroom hours as a tutor "” helping them with a diverse range of subjects ranging from geometry to biology to Spanish. Although my goals led me to law school, I still enjoy working with students. I hope that I'll be able to continue sharing in the success of students like you through my tutoring.
