I am a seasoned educator and tutor with a passion for the arts. I'm here to help students with their reading, writing, literature, English, computer science, and a variety of other subjects. I also tutor Spanish, and I can teach English as a second language. I'm also available to work with students to develop their organizational and studying skills. I've always been passionate about education. When I was in high school I volunteered at a nearby elementary school. After I received my degree from Florida State University, I worked as a substitute teacher, a music teacher, a teacher's assistant, a tutor, and I taught ESL. I have the most experience working with elementary school through high school level students, but I have taught college students in the past. As a tutor I make my sessions fun and interactive. I try to create an environment where my students feel safe engaging with myself and the material. Even when I'm working with a student on a specific subject, I will help them hone their time management and organization skills. I am passionate about the arts and I incorporate the arts into my tutoring. When I'm not tutoring I love creating electronic music, teaching yoga, and finding ways to be creative.
