ExperienceI am a tutor who has experience working with students through a variety of programs. I am available to help students in a multitude of subjects including algebra, calculus, elementary math, middle school math, statistics, trigonometry, Latin, reading, American history, English, social studies, and more. I am currently pursuing my degree in Political Science with a minor in Mathematics at Northeastern University. I serve in my school's debate society and the Northeastern University International Relations Council. I participate in Northeastern's Model United Nations, and I write for the Northeastern Political Review. I have experience working with students as a tutor through Boston's SquashBusters program and also as teacher with Citizen Schools. I believe that all students deserve extra help if they are struggling with learning. I love being a part of that support system and watching students achieve success. All students have the ability to succeed if they work hard enough and have the resources and help necessary for success. As a tutor I try to not only help my students learn the subject material, but also become better learners in general. In my spare time I enjoy writing, reading books, perusing the web, and watching my favorite television shows.
