Experiences:I demonstrate excellent skills in teaching and education. I have been teaching for over 20 years, ranging in different levels. I have taught Spanish classes levels 1-4 and AP for middle school and high school, as well as take charge with the development of their curriculum. I have also taught Spanish as a second language in Los Angeles Unified School District to teachers and for Boston University in grad school. My teaching philosophy is to consider the student in a global and cultural aspect, understanding that there are different learning styles which in turn present each lesson with as much variety as possible in order to reach out to the different learning styles. Learning happens when the student is not only able to cognitively understand the educational content, but also become able to internalize it and apply it to different opportunities presented throughout life.
