Experience
I come from a family of educators, so you could say that tutoring is in my blood. Throughout my life, teachers have been the people I look up to, love, and respect, and I hope to offer that kind of positive influence to my students. My tutoring experience includes elementary school math, pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, algebra 3/4, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus 1, calculus 2, calculus 3, AP Calculus AB, statistics, AP Chemistry, and various science courses. I've gained that educational experience through working as a teacher's assistant at a summer school, through volunteering for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and through working at the Saturday Academy, which is part of the Upward Bound initiative at the University of Southern California. The classes I'm most passionate about teaching are algebra and calculus, as I've been using and working with those two subjects throughout my own academic career, as well as taking additional related courses in my free time. As a tutor, I work diligently to thoroughly teach my students the information, so that my students truly have the time to get the most comprehensive understanding possible of their subjects. When I'm not tutoring, I love watching movies, reading, running, and anything to do with cars.
