Private tutor in Boston, MA
Pennsylvania State University-Main Campus - BA, Psychology , Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology - PsyD, Psychology
I am a current Psychology student in the process of earning my doctorate degree at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. I enjoy tutoring many subjects, and some of my favorites are Psychology and Social Sciences. I can teach everything from remedial material to AP and college subjects. I also enjoy helping students prepare for tests and teaching general study skills that they can use to help them master every subject. During the first year of my graduate studies, I worked as an intern at a middle school and helped many students, including children with developmental disorders. I gained a lot of experience working with adolescents during my internship, and I earned skills that I continue to use as a tutor. When tutoring, I am very patient and tailor my teaching to every student's individual style of learning. I believe that no two children are alike and that each has unique needs in and out of the classroom. I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, and then worked as a mental health technician at a child and adolescent psychiatric hospital. I have a wide array of hobbies, including cooking (especially baking), hiking, and watching many types of sports.
