Education

I am currently enrolled in the UMass Boston Graduate School of Education, receiving a Masters in Secondary Education History (estimated completion: Spring 2016). Before UMass, I graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and minor in History.

Experience

Currently, I work as a Teaching Assistant at the Sanborn Middle School in Concord, MA. Previous to this year, I worked as a TA at the Maynard Middle School for three years. I work with general education and special education students in Math, ELA, and Social Studies. I currently hold a temporary teachers license for Middle/High school History and I am completing my masters in education at UMass Boston. I would love to continue to work with students who are looking for more clarity in any History or Social Sciences areas (including reading and writing) in areas such as analysis, interpretation and critical thinking.

In my free time, I love to be outdoors (hiking, running, camping), play and watch sports (skiing, soccer, baseball, football, basketball), listen to and play music (guitar and piano), and getting together with friends. From my time working with Middle School students, I am well versed in video games and the current technologies/games being used by kids today! I was an archery counselor for five summers at Camp Nashoba, and I have been a skiing, soccer, and baseball coach in the past.
