I was an office tutor in literature, writing, reading, and basic math for college students for two years. I would have frequent drop in students as well as students I met up with on a regular basis. I also worked as a large study group leader for a World Literature course and am the current assistant for that course. I took honors math all throughout high school and in college took many literature, writing, editing, and journalism courses throughout my time there. I want to be a tutor because I loved investing in student's lives. There is nothing like getting a student who hated literature to really get a story and develop their own thoughts and ideas, even enjoying it!
