I graduated with summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I will be applying to medical school this year. I have volunteered as a tutor and as a teaching assistant for middle school and high school students. I helped them with homework, studying for exams, and preparing for college applications. I also helped college students with course materials including biology, chemistry, and physics. I am willing to help students with MCAT biological sciences as well. Previously, I worked as a research assistant at the University of Michigan and at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am now working at BIDMC family practice in Boston. Tutoring is a rewarding experience for me as I watch students make drastic improvements. My priority is to make the learning material simple and easy to understand so that students can overcome challenges on their own in the future after practicing and reviewing the content with me thoroughly.
