Education

Drew University - BA, Neuroscience

Experience

I graduated from Drew University, and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience. Boston University just accepted my application to work toward a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. I have researched and published studies in DNA sequencing and Oncology Pharmacology. I also have also tutored courses in the Sciences. These courses can be difficult so I tailor my tutoring style to teach students in ways that they learn best. This means that I have to do a lot of listening. Once I understand their needs, I develop a tutoring plan to help them get the most from their studies. My favorite subjects to tutor students include test preparation, Writing, Science, and how to overcome anxiety by mastering specific strategies for taking tests. Anxiety can ruin a person's ability to score well on tests. However, my students address the reasons and are able to build their confidence as a result. Doing well in college is all about having the confidence to succeed. This mirrors everything in life. I am always busy, but I do have time for personal fun. I like to read, practice yoga, and listen to music. If you are having any difficulties with your Science studies, reach out to me.
