Experience
I like understanding how things work and explaining it to others. Both during my time as a postdoctoral scientist at MIT here in Boston (5+yrs) and as a graduate student at the VU University f Amsterdam in the Netherlands (5 yrs), I tutored undergraduate and master students. I am currently involved in a summer teaching program designed for undergraduate students who are selected to pursue a 10-week research program at MIT and also was involved in a high-school outreach program at MIT for AP-biology students. Aside frm being a biochemist, I am also a native French speaker (lived in Paris, France for 25 yrs before leaving for grad school) and can help with French vocabulary, pronunciation, writing, reading and grammar.
