During my undergraduate experiences at Pomona College, I was a mathematics grader which provided me with the opportunity to not only grade assignments and record the progress of each student, I was also able to provide assistance to students who requested help. Besides academic tutoring, I mentored a number of students spanning a range of topics. These topics included academics, career and life advice. I believe I am an incredibly patient and approachable individual. The ability to break down complex ideas into an accessible digestible form for students of all ages is something I believe I posses. While interning, I had the opportunity to aid in devising ways to take complex legislation and develop programming tools to enable the content to be accessible for students ranging from middle school to graduate school level. This provided me the experience of finding new and creative ways to teach material in an understandable manner.
