I went to Boston College to earn my bachelor's degree in biology. I also earned a medical ethics minor. I found work as a medical scribe following college, and I'm looking forward to medical school in the near future. I've experience tutoring students in a number of different subjects, but in particular I've helped students prepare for the SAT and improve their math skills. I believe working through problems is one of the best ways to help students learn. I guide students along the way without giving away the answer, helping them understand concepts as we go. Through this process, students develop problem-solving skills and begin getting correct answers on their own, which helps them become confident in their abilities. I can also help students study for the MCAT and other standardized exams, and I can assist with organic chemistry, physics, and other sciences.
