Hamilton College - BA, Biochemistry

I graduated from Hamilton College where I earned a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, with a minor in English. During college I was a laboratory assistant teacher and tutor in general chemistry, as well as biochemistry. My main goal has always been to help students grasp the concepts in their various science courses. I have tutoring experience with high school level and college students, but because I have worked with younger students in a number of community programs, I really can teach science at all levels. I feel that as a tutor it is important to individualize the lessons, being sure that the student fully understands the material and is provided the tools necessary to work independently. I really strive to help each student achieve their academic goals. Besides Chemistry, I am also available to teach Biology, Reading, Literature, and English. I can also help you prepare for your SAT tests (Math, Verbal, Critical Reading). Whatever your goals might be, I am willing and able to help you achieve them. In my free time I enjoy reading, skiing, fitness, cooking and gardening. Please contact me so that we might discuss how I might help you. I hope to make you as enthusiastic as I am about science.
