Influencing the lives of my students as a tutor is something I am committed to achieve in my interactions with them. Tutoring students of all ages, I have studied student's learning behaviors and discovered that taking the time to assess their unique strengths and weaknesses allows me to formulate an action plan to help drive success in their learning experience. As students begin to encounter their success, their confidence grows, which catapults them through their learning barriers. My aspiration to help students comes from my experience as a math teacher for high school students, but I also hold a license in Vermont and Massachusetts to teach grades 5 - 12. Additionally, I have teaching experience in Vermont, Hawaii, and Massachusetts. My credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Saint Michael's College. I'm an experienced tutor in many math subjects, including algebra, calculus, geometry, and all general math for elementary, middle school, and high school.I enjoy some time away from the classroom taking in the great outdoors. Often I can be found enjoying the scenery as I hike or run, working on my balance on a paddle board, increasing my physical endurance by running the field in a soccer or lacrosse game, or just taking some time to enjoy the warmth of the sun.
