Passionate about learning and imparting wisdom to students, I am a liberal arts studies graduate student. I also studied Spanish as an undergrad. My teaching style is to present information in various ways in order to strike a natural curiosity and interest in the student. I find that if I present information in an interesting way that is relevant to the student, then they are certain to develop a deeper and more meaningful understanding of the subject. I always encourage students to ask lots of questions and to follow their own imaginations, ideals, and curiosities. Students come from all sorts of different learning backgrounds, and none of them are completely the same. Classrooms and tutoring experiences, should reflect this, giving students a broad swath of styles that fit their particular needs. I've found that organized planning and presenting a hands-on experience using technology such as projectors, smartboards, etc., is crucial to enhancing the learning environment. My main goal is to help students develop a love for learning inside the classroom that they can carry with them throughout their entire educational career. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis (or any racquet sport), being outside often, and going to museums and jazz concerts.
