My tutoring philosophy is that any child can achieve academic success if they are provided an attentive and caring tutor who provides the right instruction and guidance. One of my most exciting subjects to tutor is Math. Math can be a difficult subject that many students don't enjoy because it's a struggle to master all the techniques and methods needed to figure out the solutions to the complex problems. I enjoy helping students work through each technique and method in a fun and interesting way that helps them become excited about Math.I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education/Human Development at Wheelock College, and I'm currently working on my master's degree in Middle School Math from Cambridge College. I'm authorized to teach 1st through 6th-grade students. My favorite subject to tutor is Math, but I also tutor in Grammar and Writing Mechanics, Essay Writing, Literature, Phonics, Reading, American History, European History, Government, World History, Test Preparation, and Study Skill Improvements. When I'm not helping students with their coursework, I enjoy catching up on reading, practicing my yoga technique, trying out new cooking and baking recipes, and enjoying the outdoors with a hike.
