Education

Smith College - BA, Physics

Experience

I attended Smith College for my bachelor's degree in physics. I also love teaching, and I will be attending UC - Berkeley for a doctoral degree in applied sciences and technology. I've been tutoring for several years, mostly working with engineering and physics students at the college level. I've experience working with individuals and with groups. I'm a very patient person, which I believe is a critical skill for a tutor. I observe students and listen to them carefully to figure out how they think about problems. I then identify what students are doing right with the process, and help them build on that to solidify their problem-solving skills. I'm looking forward to helping students with math and science topics. When I have free time, I like to paint, hike, read, cook, and explore the city.
