I have been teaching students of university level since 2004 in different universities in Baghdad/ Iraq mostly in scientific branches.I developed a syllabus and lectures on the “The History of Electrical Eng.”for students of the first and the second stages. • Created lessons plans to involve students by having them participant in different class activities like giving them scientific themes to write about to be presented then before class to give them more confidence and feel at home when standing in front a congregation. • Worked as a scientific guide to the students of the first stage at workshops,watching over their attendances,using their hands in performing different exercises for more than three years. • Led lectures of “Technical English” to the first stage student with special focus on grammar,sentence structure and proper punctuation scientific students need and use.These skills were mingled with the scientific subject matter required to be taught to the students and by this way they learn English as well as the scientific subject. • Selected as a member of the TOEFL committee that prepares the TOEFL exam for applicants of higher studies. • Created an English language syllabus to students of the first stage in two different departments: the Architecture dept. and the Laser & Optoelectronics dept. • Engaged students with the process of teaching by having students read a passage,write a paragraph on selected topic,and involving students in conversations and exchanges within the class as well as filling out question sheets or handouts/quizzes. • Promoted to be a senior lecturer in the English Literature. Additional Experience: I worked as a linguistic Reviewer of Theses at the University of Technology reviewing Ph.D and Masters' theses done there for more than a year. • Worked as an assistant of the dept. registrar as well as an auditor of the graduated certificates at the registry unit for more than six years at the university of Technology. • Translated several subjects from Arabic to English in Dar–Al-Ma’moon for publication and translation in the Iraqi Minstery of Culture for a bout a year. I have TOEFL certificate 543 scores and an ILETS certificate with level 6. I am a researcher and published five researches in Baghdad at different magazines .Now i am translating poems from Arabic to English and trying to publish them and they are accepted to be published but waiting for the permission of the son of late poet.

Listening to music and i used to play piano when i was a child but no more , i like reading different books scientific and literary ones. I like swimming , cycling and hiking . I really like translating selective poems into English.
