Education
I graduated with honours from the University of Kansas with a BA in history and a minor in Italian. I am now attending graduate school to get a master's in library information science.
Experience
In the past I worked with classmates who were struggling with the class content and in the process learned that I enjoyed helping people. I take pleasure in helping them learn and begin to understand something that was previously confusing to them. I have taken a wide range of history classes, but am more proficient in European history. I minored in Italian and spent a summer studying abroad in Florence Italy. I have had to write countless research based papers for all of my history classes, which culminated in my senior thesis. My senior thesis was an independent piece of research that I had to defend before a board of history professors in order to graduate. I took my research abilities and was recently a research assistant to Christina Voros, a director and photographer of some well received documentaries in the independent film world.
