Through the Master's of Education program in Counseling at Boston University the necessary skills to build strong relationship and create an effective work environment were obtained. Since undergraduate work, my focus has always been on other people and how to improve their life in anyway possible. Through creating motivational climates, goal setting, and support many athletes and individuals have improved their quality of life in someway. I have worked with children and adults in various settings, of which include inner-city school systems, teaching soccer for the special olympics, and students with very diverse backgrounds/religions. Most tutors have the brains, that is a given. But do they possess the ability to form a bond with the individual where learning becomes easier and less of a struggle? This is where my abilities stand out.
