Experience
Previous Experience: --I've been tutoring students of all ages in a wide variety of subjects for five years in total --Tutored other Harvard students throughout college through the Harvard Bureau of Study Council in subjects such as biology, chemistry, psychology, and economics --Worked with high school seniors on presenting themselves optimally through college applications, with an emphasis on personal statements I am truly passionate about academia--I absolutely love to learn. My interests are broad, ranging from biology to English to economics to philosophy to computer science. Watching a student get excited about engaging with material is one of the most rewarding experiences I've had, and I would be thrilled to work with your child to that end! School can be so much fun--it's all about finding someone enthusiastic to illustrate how cool the material really is. If you are seeking violin lessons for your child, I am available for those as well! I am an actively performing violinist; I've been a soloist with various orchestras, I've collaborated with world-renowned artists such as members of the Juilliard, Brentano, and Mendelssohn String Quartets, and I've performed in venues such as Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher and Alice Tully halls. Cultivating a love for music has everything to do with finding the right teacher for your child. I'm energetic, creative, and compassionate, and I am happy to tailor my teaching methods to your child's needs and skill level.
