Experience
I have taught history, geography, and study skills for the past 14 years at both the middle and high school level. I have tutored students for many of these years in an after school Academics program. I enjoy helping students gain academic skills through the social science disciplines. I have taught students how to read, write, and prepare for tests more effectively so they could be more successful in the classroom. I also have many years experience mentoring students outside the classroom as both a coach and trip leader. I connect well with young people and enjoy the challenge of helping them meet their academic and personal goals.
