Private tutor in Boston, MA

2012 Graduate of Williams College with B.A.s in Mathematics and Political Science and a concentration in Leadership Studies. Rising 1L at Boston College Law School. I have tutored through UniversityTutor for 4 years. My first tutee just graduated from Boston College.

Simply put, I enjoy teaching others; sharing my own knowledge and helping people explore areas of study that interest them are things I find deeply compelling. Moreover, they have motivated me in the past to tutor for a combined 9 years. While in high school I was a peer tutor for multiple subjects (e.g. geometry, English, and Spanish). Additionally, I substitute taught an AP calculus course when the class' teacher was away for medical reasons. When I arrived at Williams College I continued tutoring, becoming a calculus tutor for 4 years and preparing / conducting science experiments for first and third students at local elementary schools.

I work for the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan research and reporting nonprofit that tracks money in politics. I oversee outreach efforts and deliver presentations explaining campaign finance data and lobbying expenditures. In my spare time, I rock climb, volunteer at a legal resource center, work on coding projects, and play jazz and classical piano.
