I possess excellent research skills from 5 years of work experience in marine biology and developmental linguistics laboratories. Additionally, I have studied French and Wolof (a common West African language) for 5 years each and have spent a total of 4 months abroad in Dakar, Senegal to improve my foreign language skills. I am a four-time recipient of the US Department of Education Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Grant. Furthermore, I twice received funding through the Boston University Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) to conduct marine biology research.
