Education
I am a freshmen at Emmanuel College, majoring in Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience. I will also be participating in the Honors Program on the Pre-med path.
Experience
Although biological sciences are my passion, I have had a very in-depth background of math and spanish as well. I was the salutatorian of my high school class of 340 students, having excelled in all of the subjects. Furthermore, I completed a Neurobiology class at Harvard for undergraduate credit. As for tutoring experience, I was a part of the Mu Alpha Theta, the Mathematics Honor Society, in which I tutored 5 different students in the latter two years of my high school career, in all different types of math. Additionally, I tutored spanish on occasion. Although I had no formal biology tutoring, I was always willing to assist my peers and classmates when necessary. I believe tutoring can not only help a student gain a better understanding of the subject matter, but have a different outlook on school in general.
