Education

Ph.D., Theoretical Physics, Boston University, 2009

Experience

I offer physics tutoring at all high school and undergraduate college levels. Background: 3 years of teaching at Boston University. Classes taught: PY105/106 (Intro to physics, non-calculus), PY211/212 (intro to physics, calculus), PY313 (Modern Physics) and PY 355 (Methods of Theoretical Physics). 9 years of tutoring physics and math, from high school physics intro classes to upper-level Electromagnetism and Quantum Mechanics. I have helped several hundreds of students from Harvard, MIT, BU, Northeastern, BC, UMass Boston, UCSD... I can do both one-on-one and group tutoring. However, in my opinion, one-on-one tutoring almost always works better than group tutoring. In a one-on-one tutoring, a student can get exactly what he or she needs at any given moment, without waiting for or being distracted by others. Rate: My normal rate for introductory physics classes is $60/hour Rate is slightly higher if I have to travel to your place (within I-495)
