Tutoring experience: currently employed for 1 year as a full time tutor at a high achieving charter public high school in Boston. I stumbled upon this service year at a charter school working with high schoolers and it made me realize that I want to teach. Tutoring offers me time to gain experience and pull in the extra money I need to get going.

I am a 6'5" skinny nerd raised just south of Boston (Weymouth!) who takes pride in said nerdiness, but also in how well I can hide it if need be. Does your child like sports? Me too! (I was raised playing all of them, and still play pickup bball in the south end). Does your child like science, space, reading books, etc? Me too! (I used to get yelled at for reading Bill Nye's book with a flashlight under the covers). Does your child like Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and Nicki Minaj? Me t-. No, I don't, but at least I know who they are. Seriously, I'm a pretty well rounded person, and I've spent the last year using different aspects of my personality to break through with a wide variety of high school personalities.
