Mark R.
Private tutor in Boston, MA
Education
I am a sophomore Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major at Boston University. I am minoring in Spanish. I am a member of the Kilachand Honors College of Boston University and currently have a 3.63 GPA.
Experience
I started tutoring in high school, where as a member of the National Honors Society I was required to hold tutoring sessions for my peers once a week. I speak Spanish fluently, and was a Teaching Assistant for one year in a high school Spanish class at Medford High. In addition, I taught SAT Math and college preparation at Chelsea High School as part of the Let's Get Ready program. Finally, I have tutored middle schools in the city of Chelsea in various subjects as part of the BU Homework Help Program. Someone can be the smartest person in their field, but without patience, communication, and passion, they will not make a good tutor. I have all of these qualities along with an impeccable academic record and years of experience, which is why I make an excellent tutor.
