Education
I graduated with highest honor from Georgia Tech with a BS in Chemistry. I recently graduated from the Boston Conservatory with a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance.
Experience
At Georgia Tech I had extensive classroom and hands on laboratory experience including 3.5 years as a research assistant in a graduate chemistry lab. I worked on a number of vast projects ranging from engineering, separations, thermodynamics, organic synthesis, and analytical chemistry. This experience gives me both a thorough theoretical knowledge of chemistry as well as practical hands-on knowledge of how the science actually works. In addition, math was an extensive part of the curriculum and I took three years of calculus, including multivariate, as well as differential equations and statistics. I have extensive performance experience on trumpet, and am familiar with music history and theory on an undergraduate level and would be willing to teach any of these. I played principal trumpet in Georgia Tech's orchestra for 3 years and am currently a student at the Boston Conservatory.

Hobbies
Music and Chemistry (Science, really) are my two primary areas of interest, and they leave very little time for activities outside those two spheres. I do enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, rock climbing, running and cycling. And I'm a Sci-Fi fan, especially Star Trek.
