Experience

I'm a certified, tenured physics teacher with 5 years of classroom experience and 10 years of tutoring experience. I'm very knowledgeable, and pride myself on preparing for sessions, but I'm also approachable and friendly. I make it easy and fun to meet your academic goals. While teaching in upstate NY, I created Cafe Physics, a weekly morning review session for my students with donuts and hot cocoa. Participating students got to discuss and work on physics problems, and excelled in class. I'm an excellent test-taker and have a keen eye for the tricks and pitfalls that test designers build in to their exams. I earned 5's on all of the science and math APs I took in High School, and a perfect 800 Math SAT score.

Hobbies

I love to be outdoors. I hike, camp, and backpack as often as I can, and recently completed Vermont's Long Trail, a 273 mile through the Green Mountains from Massachusetts to Canada. I love to cook for myself, my friends, and my family, and really enjoy the camaraderie and community developed by sharing a meal made from scratch. I can also juggle fire and unicycle!
