Experience
I am a German native speaker and have been tutoring for 15 years. I am experienced in helping elementary and middle school students with their homework and exam preparation and introducing them to new languages. My current students are mostly adults interested in learning German for business or pleasure. I've taught most levels from language acquisition to advanced. I am also experienced in preparing non-native English speakers for their TOEFL and IELTS exams. Please email to inquire about exam preparation rates. I spent my junior year of high school in the US and thus was able to experience first hand what it is like to be a student in the US and what is asked of students here. I have had 6 years of French and 4 years of Spanish in school and have lived in Spain for 3 months to further my Spanish skills. I am fluent in English. Besides my exchange student year in the US I have lived in England for 6 months to maintain a high level of English and have been living in Boston for 5 years. I have taken both the TOEFL and IELTS language proficiency tests and scored in the 99th percentile.
