I have traveled to over 10 different countries from Latin America to Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. While living in Tanzania for 3.5 years I led business and financial management trainings for small business owners which developed my experience of writing curriculum, facilitating, and using creative/hands-on teaching practices. Now I am studying to become an elementary school teacher because I believe in the potential of youth to be the next changemakers and I love seeing their joy when they recognize their potential and grow as learners. When I'm not working, I love dancing (salsa/bachata), running, reading, playing with my dog Mpoki, and spending time outdoors!
