Experience

I went to Vassar College to earn my bachelor's degree in biology. I also earned an English minor. After I completed my degree, I accepted a position at Weill Cornell Medical College while studying at New York Medical College, and I will be moving into medical school officially soon. As an undergraduate student, I was a researcher and tutor, assisting students in English and science. I have six years of tutoring experience total as an English tutor, and I've helped students with everything from college admissions essays to basic grammar. I have the most experience helping students prepare for standardized assessment and admissions exams like the SAT, SSAT, and others. I know that students often get stressed out about these exams and attempting to get into certain schools, so I make sure that students are working effectively and making progress to help ease some of their tension. I love to learn, and I want my students to love learning as well. When I have free time, I like to play tennis, read, and run.
