Experience

My name is Zach, and I'm a Northeastern University student seeking a bachelor's degree in physics. I love to learn, and I've wanted to know more about the world and how it works. I started tutoring as a high school student, assisting peers in subjects like history, Regents preparation, Spanish, science, math, AP calculus AB and AC, and AP physics one. I can adapt my approach to use various teaching styles based on the way my student learns best. I worked with a lot of young people as a tutor, a coach, and summer camp employee. I'm comfortable helping students with calculus one through three, physics one and two, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and test preparation for the SAT, ACT, Regents, and other exams. My goal as a tutor is to help students develop a full understanding of concepts instead of just memorizing tricks to get by. In my free time, I enjoy hockey, playing the guitar, and playing the piano.
