I believe every student learns differently, so as a tutor, I first get to know my students and connect with them on a personal level. This allows me to customize lessons for students and help them reach their goals. I encourage students to embrace mistakes because they provide insight into where students need help. I also help students to think critically and be open to the information that is provided in sessions so that they can learn successfully and become confident. I tutor students in English, ESL, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. In my free time, I enjoy Asian culture, singing, and Japanese pop music.
